We all have a story to tell. I’m sure my life is no harder than anyone else’s. However there were a few years there where I thought I could do with a little break from the doom and gloom. At the end of each year I was glad to say goodbye and always hopeful that the following year would be better. It often failed to live up to my hopes.
This year was different. There were no crises, no deaths and no drama. If there were I have them all forgotten and the overriding thought is that it was a good one. I got through my course with all family members still alive. The children are healthy and thriving. What more could you ask for?
I feel at ease with myself and I’m excited about what’s to come. The focus for 2018 is progress. Progress in my parenting, blogging, health, relationships and self worth. To name a few off the top of my head.
2017 has left me with an enormous sense of gratitude. I’m grateful for my home my family and my friends. I’m also delighted to have found a passion in my blogging. I’ve been at it for like forever…… but since I started contributing to The M Word there’s been a spring in my step and I have so many ideas for where I see the blog going.
So with that being said I wanna say thanks to you all for reading and sharing and give out to you for not sharing enough. Without you I wouldn’t be enjoying this as much. So stick around, there’s more to come.
